Whether you prefer saltwater or fresh water fishing, the sport is relaxing and satisfying. My Grandfather taught me to fresh water fish at an early age in the family farm pond. Maybe you have some fond memories of fishing with a loved one you can share. It was always so satisfying catching a bucket full of brim or crappie to take back to Grandma for her to “ooooo” and “aaahhh” over and then to fry up. Granddad would show me how to scale the fish and would show me all the inside parts of the fish, including the beating heart. Today, many of our children miss out on the basics of the world, such as this. I believe these kinds of experiences in life teach respect for life in general.
