When you have a part that has failed on your adhesive melter, a quick resolution is critical to minimizing downtime. Most often, there are two options: replacement or repair. While hot melt adhesives are an excellent solution for many industrial applications, the high temperatures of the process need to be carefully controlled to avoid problematic fumes. When hot melt adhesives are heated, they inevitably release some fumes. That is the odor you detect when working close to hot melt nozzles. While having some fumes is normal, excessive fumes suggest a problem with your process and require some attention.

Check glue hoses for wear/tear
Check circuitry for accurate settings (Keystone repairs OEM circuit boards)
Verify applicators and hoses are holding set temperatures
Clean or replace nozzles
Verify glue modules are not leaking and are firing properly

Many types of glue applications require complete coverage for product assembly and for packaging. Some examples for product assembly are diaper manufacturing and furniture laminating. Examples for packaging can include sift proof and tagging.
Keystone's 12 air hole spray nozzles give a smooth, consistent swirl pattern for your application needs. The nozzle does not require the small oring as other manufacturers nozzles require. It is a metal on metal seat which eliminates changing of broken or worn orings. Any of you who have used the oring style know those tiny orings are hard to work with and are hard to install in the nozzle.
We also manufacture the modules for the spray nozzles.
Give us a try - we will send a free sample for you to try before buying.
